I am bracing myself for the inevitable backlash, but I have recently realized that I'm not a New Order fan. I like Blue Monday, as does everybody, but listening to a copy of Substance made me realize that on the whole I really don't care for the band.
Should I seek professional help?

Naw. I like New Order, but there are quite a few New Wave demigods that I have no use for. Example: The Smith's have a strong following here, but that doesn't sway me in the least, as they're too whiny for my particular tastes. We all like what we like, and if anyone has a problem with that, then that's THEIR problem.

Naw. I like New Order, but there are quite a few New Wave demigods that I have no use for. PC&L baby! That is their quintessential album IMO, from their 82-85 period (my favorite). Post-Low Life New Order has never grabbed me same way. One thing that always annoys me about New Order are Bernard's often inane or overly simplistic lyrics/rhyming ... they can definitely get under my skin sometimes.
