Welcome to the new forum!

Yeah, ABBA was never considered cool back in the day, but the truth is they were a great pop group. The fact that 25 years later, covers of their songs still hold up strong is a testament to their quality.

There is no shame in admitting that Abba put out brilliant records. (I recall feeling a sense of relief when I read in Creem magazine that Joe Strummer admitted liking 'Fernando')....

I bought a truly bizarre ABBA tribute album a few years back that had Mike Love murdering "On And On". Mike is easily the least talented Beach Boy and to hear a wall of Mike's vocal overdubs coming at you is tantamount to having

It sounds funny at first but, They actually pull it off well.

Those are great. They also have some in Swedish as well as some pre-ABBA stuff in a compilation called [i]Pa Svenka[/i].
