WARNING!! 90'S BASHER ENTERING THREAD!!!

OK--have to admit I know many of these bands listed and I like all the ones I know (except for the dreade Pearl Jam). I lost touch with a lot of 90's music because the so called alternative stations were so over

Hey Grunch,
ever hear Stars' cover of "This Charming Man"? Pretty good.

...and I should've mentioned Laptop (or did I?). This guy is great. 80's style synthpop with truly witty lyrics. He may have hit the scene in 2000 though, come to think of it.

If you listen to a few of their albums and dismiss them as another Seattle/SubPop/grunge band, please turn in your music collection to the nearest agency. You don't deserve it.

I remember seeing the video for Morophine's "Honey White" in 1995 on 120 Minutes. That was the first time I had heard of them. Luckily I had just started on WFDU and we had "Yes" and "Good" so I made myself the best 90-minute tape no money could buy.
