I don't think I've had the radio dial to the right of 92 in years. I'm in an area with lots of college stations, so I'll often just scan through those and if nothing grabs me, put in a CD. An AM station is programmed for Red Sox games.

I listen to NPR, mostly because of the wretched quality of the music radio in my area. I mean, I live in the #26 market (Monmouth-Ocean) and commute to the #1 market (Metro NYC) so you'd think there would be something.

Skinnytie, you said it perfectly. It has become habbit. I too have listened from nbc. I was taking my first drivers ed class and the teacher put him on. Like you there is alot I can do without but I really enjoy the banter between them. Its like listening

I generally only listen to NPR because of the sorry state of commercial radio. If I go through a large city or university town I try to find a college station, they still play unique music at times.
