I just got into this music about 2 years ago, before that i'd never heard of most of these artists. There were 2 browsing places that were very helpful for me:
1) the compilations listings in this website - the one which includes all the songs in each compilation
2) www.rocklists.com both the 80's year end countdowns and the all time 80's countdowns from KROQ, 91X, LIVE 105 & WLIR
