There was this young lady on the popular British Serial Drama EastEnders back in the 80s that sported spiked red hair and lots of dark clothes with plaid and leather. Forget her name but she was so Punk/New Wave! I just can't remember......

the actor who played Lofty had some connection with Zodiac mindwarp and the Love Reaction. He would go onstage and introduce the band.

Ollie & Nero, I am a ***RABID*** EE fan as well!! I have also watched since about 1988 when I watched on PBS. I recently had to scramble to get a dish after BBC America (David Bernath, the new CEO - the fucking bastard!) decidedly to sneakily and without

Let's all laugh at me now, but I have to say E.G. Daily for her excellent solo music career and in Valley Girl. I think she summed up the totally 80's scene for me in that movie.

Secondly, I have to go with Jo Kennedy from the 80's Aussie movie "Starst
