I was 17 in '77 and the Punk/New Wave scene changed my life in ways that still reverberate. I wish I had the time to put together a post like Rokkr, but right now I don't. (BTW: Great Post Rokkr.)

Thanks for all the kind words.
That time of my life will always mean a lot to me. It was a time of change not a lot of us are fortunate to see, much less be involved in.
After almost 30 years all the people I knew then I don't know now.

The Paradise was a great place to see concerts in the late 70's and early 80's. Gary Numan played there during his 80 tour. I was in college in Vermont at the time. I can't remember why I couldn't get to that because arrangements had been made to go bu

Heh, I used to live at the Paradise just about and the Channel a lot too.
I saw Gary Numan in Boston, but he opened for the Psych Furs at the Harvard Square Theater I think.
The most memorable shows that come to mind at the Paradise were, Echo & the Bun
