Blir, this is the poem that in the movie, Out of Africa, Karen Blixen (Meryl Streep) reads at the funeral of her lover, Dennis (Robert Redford). (You probably already knew that.) When I started reading the poem, I immediately imagined that scene from the movie.

<p align="justify">Whoas![:0] I was thinking of another VNV Nation song as well, but I thought it was too depressing. "Further" has a cool sound to it whilst I am alive (lyrics are good - the accompanying music is superb). I don't think it'd be fitting when I am dead, though.

I'm thinking of something without lyrics, so as to leave the music truly open to interpretation. I'd have Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" play. I hate baroque music, but I don't think everyone else share's my negative opinion of Vivaldi. It's cliche uplifting ambient musak. I'd follow that up with something I really like such as Erik Satie's "Gymnopedies". I think this choice will make some people sad. I'd finish it up with selections from The Durutti Column: "Sketch For Summer," "Sketch For Winter," and a very odd spacy choice of "Slo-Glyde." If it's too much music, then cut everything down to Erik Satie's "Premiere Gymnopedie" and "Sketch For Summer"[:)]

I'd just want them to take my iTunes playlist, put it on shuffle and let it go. It's a crazy mix of every genre you can think of and a very good representation of me.
