lemme tell you why-
It has a bassline thats equal to The Bodeans - Black White and Blood Red..

an 11 second sample of this song came to my attention and drove me nuts (everyone from the NWO was sick of me posting it)..this was when NWO first got the forums up for the second round.

And well...I kept listening to these 11 seconds until my head exploded...then I heard that it was Numbers with Wings...so I got the song...heard the same bass line...
but it didnt have this AWESOME SYNTH INTRO that the Bodeans song had...

until an italo friend of mine came across it and sent it to me...the full Bodeans song..and I heard it...and it was wonderful and I was happy again.

but because I listened to Numbers With Wings so much.. it really really grew on me.

And I'm back! Here's Dave's suggestion of comparing us directly to the top 100. Top 102 actually with ties. The results are frankly nothing short of ASTOUNDING! [b]Otters[/b] and the Top 100 have a higher correlation to eachother than do any other two entries in the whole questionaire...by far! His Coefficient of Corrleation of 0.48 is astoundingly tighter than the next closest correlation between Ebbhead and Freewave at 0.29! That's really pretty amazing. He and Hex are right in there with our impeccable list of New Wave's Greatests! Where's Fritz with his "bow down" emoticon?!

When I was a cooler-than-thou high schooler, I would've taken this to mean I was too in line with what's popular. I should've put in more lesser-knowns and basked in my obvious superiority. Only by out-obscuring you could I be truly cool.

[/quote]One thing I noticed is that I'm grouped w/ women: KYYX, Marie & Dayglo. While I'm no Rico Suave, maybe that's because I was raised by my mom and sister. Now my household consists of my wife and two daughters. Heck, even my dog is female.
