The Kitbuilders are really great. Kinetic Media (a new-ish label out of Florida) finally released their cd in the States.

Most of Fischerspooner's latest, "Odyssey," fall squarely in all 3 camps, but there are a few tracks (such as the single "Never Win," "Wednesday" and "Happy") that rise above them. "Never Win" has a great video, too -- one of the best '80s clips the '80s never had.
Mates of State aren't bad, either, when they're sticking to synth pop and not veering off into garage band territory. The "All Day" EP has one of their better tracks in "Goods (It's All in Your Head)."

I agree with a lot of what's been said here. Especially about Freezepop - such a wonderful, fun band! I saw them live a while back and they played a song that's featured on a PS2 game, and had a huge video screen behind them with a random audience member playing the game while they performed the song... truly a memorable experience!
I would also recommend:
Soviet (if you like early OMD, you'll probably dig them! Their album We Are Eyes, We Are Builders is brilliant)

Vitesse (absolutely wonderful synthpop recalling classic DM, OMD, New ORder, etc. they have no official wesite, though...)

I was able to download their first album. I wanted to buy it but everywhere I looked said it was sold out and out of print. Good, good record.
