Hey Skinnytie! *Rubbeet waves hello

Good to see you posting a bit more these days. You were missed, ya know... just as Spaz was.[8D]

Hiya, rubbeet! nice to see you too, glad you're still here! I'm still catching up, and I'm enjoying all the posts that Spaz has recently put on (still need to put my two cents in on a couple of them). Don't forget though, if you miss me, I'm sure randy will find a couple of old threads where I had more than my say! [:)]

<br>She was certainly ahead of her time and really helped define new wave. I love her stuff. I have not heard her recent album, yet--Shadows and Dust. It was released last year and is not really readily available (Amazon doesn't sell it, but it can be found). Has anyone heard the tracks yet? I hope she's still in form and it's not like picking up the Missing Persons' Lost Tracks album (where it was very clear Dale Bazzio was very much out of form) . . .

"Shadows and Dust" is a surprisingly good album, and highly recommended by me. I cannot see any of her old fans not liking it. If you're having a hard time finding it, I'm sure it can be found through the Stereo Society's web site (they're the folks who put it out).

I found it . . . out of all places on Itunes . . . downloaded it this morning and it sounds great! She's leaning a bit more Siouxsie on this album but it's great stuff! (And of course, I love Siouxsie too, so how can I complain)?
