Im a mess turnning 45 in July.
Miss the times at danceateria, Mars, milk bar all in NYC. Shopping for a new thingy called a Compact Disc at Rocks in the head & Sounds St.Marks Pl. Having breakfast at The Dojo...( man I can still smell the urine from the street) eww!!! Some things never leave ya getting my haircut at astor pl before they expanded 3 floors and getting my head shaved..
I can still here the synths from a-ha`s "take on me" bounce off the bulidings and fill the hot summer days.....
Living in small jail cell size of an apartment with 2 other roomies, broke, but I was so happy, having the time of my life, seeing great bands play everywhere, Cure in 84, Smiths in 88, echo at the Ritz, WLIR,
And as I write this I am Listing to Dinosaur Jr Freak scene!!!
The sights, the smells even the taste of the days of my youth.......

I'm 29 and on my way to the magic 30:-)..which means I didn't have the opportunity to see the rise of New Wave. Gladly some of my best friends are - just like me - huge Depeche Mode fans and there are several DM- and 80s parties in my area..
