This was my first car (77-81) before I was hit from behind on the 405, pushing me into the car in front of me. Crunched at both ends. Remember the VW's in SoCal that were converted to the "California Look"? All that work, gone in an instant!

After this I owned a Honda Civic, a Pontiac Grand Am, a full size Ford Bronco, a 1/2 ton Nissan P/U, a MB 380 SL and finally a new V6 Toyo longbed P/U.

Ah the 80's... [8D]

I drove a 1978 Honda Civic hatchback.

I actually bought it as I was walking home from work one afternoon and overheard a conversation between a jamacian lady and the gas station mechanic at the station I was walking by. She was trying to unload this car (very well maintained car too!) for $500.00 as she said she was leaving the country ASAP. Seeing as how I happend to have $500.00 bucks saved up and seeing as how I needed a car, I jumped in and told her I'd buy the car.

Man! that car lasted me for YEARS! amazing too considering it was my 1st car and knew f**k all about maintaining it. It actually gained a following around 1990 and the rave scene. At that time I had those cheesy acid house flower decals on the hatch so it was easily reconizable. On more than 1 occasion, me and my friends would be driving from one rave to another (after it was busted usually) and notice we had an uninvited caravan behind us! LOL!

Ah... good times....[:)]
