Now that I have Sirius radio, I never have to worry about changing the station. Their "First Wave" is a great new wave channel, and "Left Of Center" has the best in new indie rock. I usually listen to Air America radio in the morning.

I am CD's and CD-R's all the way - radio stations are not what they used to be. I couldn't care less if they totally vanished, they are useless to me. I can play what I want, when I want, and anything I play I like.

Anything by Yes makes me change the station.

My friend hated Yes too, and made this song in college, circa 1987.

Radio stations have done something for me maybe 3 times.It's only when a college station played alternative music format long ago.I have heard some of the music of today and really dont like a lot of it.My former job had me travelling all the time to Atla

While I work in radio and would naturally LOVE it if everyone listened to my show, I agree that commercial radio is just awful. The audience seems to be either 14 year olds or Pink Floyd fans who are unaware that there's more than one Pink Floyd album.

I usually read reviews at pitchforkmedia.com, and then sample stuff I think I might like by getting songs using Limewire. Then if I like them, I'll buy the CD's and put them on my iPod. I still haven't made the move to buying songs or albums from the iTun

Anything involving a guy with a goatee and an accoustic guitar.

I dunno but my coworkers pissed me off last night. It was nearing the 11:00pm mark, and the radio station was playing cool music and no commercials.

As of my last birthday, the radio in my car is nothing more than the front-end to a nice fat iPod. 3652 songs (and counting) on shuffle play means never having to "change the station".
