Do you have any Late Isabel tracks on mp3? I've never heard any song from them. In fact, I'm missing out on a lot of NW local bands. I'm actually based in Dubai (7 yrs now) so I'm not really kept abreast of whatever's going on there...[B)]

Well I'm not really in MP3 and I have only a few CDR's like Cactus World News coz it's hard to get, although they sell the remastered CD on their web site. I have 4 copies of TLI may be I could send U one. There is another group Scarlet Tears who just released their EP, very good, she sounds also like Siouxsie. There are plenty of gigs around, Goth nights, Back to the Edge in Mayrics etc. Last Monday at Gweilo's there was a gig in celebration of XB102, an assistant of Michael Sutton was there, I think they plan to broadcast from Seattle with the old jocks providing their playlists. If U wish U can take a look at my CD's, I have some OPM.

Another song that I'm looking for is:Goodbye Horses [Extended Version] - Q. Lazzarus

It appears in Retro: Active, Vol. 2 Rare and Remixed [LIMITED EDITION]
..... and I would have sworn to have bought it on ebay....something might have happened...may be because at that time the song I wanted was No Stars - Figures on a Beach and I finally bought Just Say Yes: Sire's Winter CD Music Sampler which also includes that song.

PS:Rubbeet921. Just saw it, came home 5am from a gig[:D]

The 1985 'Forward Your Emotions' album by One to One. As far as I know, it is not on CD, but boy would that be one that I'd pay top price for

Yes, I want that one as well. Go to the Wounded Bird site and send them an email! That's how they decide what to release - by the amount of emails they get for requested titles. That album was released on Warner Brothers, and Wounded Bird does a lot of reissues from them. I've emailed them about this one in the past. I also want the 1986 album by Limited Warranty.

Is it for real that the Stop Start LP by Modern English is not available on CD? Or am I looking in all the wrong places? I have it on cassette and it's great!

Nope, never released on CD, unbelievably.

The LP was released in 1986 by Sire. I have a CDR of this album. My favorite tracks are Ink and Paper,The Border and Breaking Away, all NW anthems.

The Big Dish - Slide (extended)

I prefer the extended 5:43 version to the regular length 5:06

Billy Satellite is on CD, and was just reissued again. The whole release, which is very very good. Granted, not new wave at all, but IMO essential 80s release - excellent songs throughout.

Howard Devoto - Jerky Versions of a Dream CD, I have, but admit it goes for big bucks these days when it pops up on ebay, as does Vitamin Z - Rites of Passage.

Kissing the Pink - Naked will be out soon so that takes care of that release, now if their second LP would get a CD reissue. It was a rare german pressing back in the day I managed to find, sounds like a hybrid of Naked and a transition to KTP.

Most of the titles mentioned I have managed to convert to CD though I hope at some point the CD's get released.

Also have both Flaming Mussolini releases, both are excellent, as well as both Slow Children.

That PhD track is the first track on their 1981 self-titled release. I have not converted this LP to CD yet, maybe I can get to it soon.
