Absolutely-just saw her touring with the Beat, and she looked great!

What about Aimee Mann?

How could i forgot Andrea Farr of Darling Buds. Her voice improve by leaps and bounds in the album Erotica. A far cry from their first 2 albums.

Reviving this thread with my vote...
Patty Donahue of The Waitresses (sadly, no longer with us)

Also must mention Josie Cotton as a favorite of mine as well as Stacey Q for her involvement with SSQ

Oh! And one more...Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons

Another excuse to again inanely post the name of your favorite pop star. We get it already.

The depth of your obsession borders on the current prepubescent fascination with bands like Jonas Brothers, etc. The difference is, these screaming teenage fans will some day grow up and stop wetting themselves every time their favorite band is mentioned.

I always liked Alison Moyet, and Cyndi Lauper. Quite a few others though.

Like all the choices, but for voice, as neutral New Wave,
my favorite, and still alive in my mind.
Laura Branigan

I think she's hot!!

Hey, Miley totally rocks!

Well at least people have actually heard of her. And I'll continue to post about her 30 years after her career has faded. I have already written her name on my school folder 246 times!

Guess you and I aren't so different.

You should make like Paula Goodspeed and park your car outside Toyah's house. (Apartment. Tenement. Cardboard box. Wherever she lives.)

Love Deborah Harry, Terri Nunn, Martha Davis, Dale Bozzio...and gotta love Susan Ottaviano from Book of Love--her deep alto was always so oddly flat yet expressive and perfectly melded with the synths.
