See ya, Claire.

Stop the presses!
Rock Lobster is the greatest B-52s song!

(Although I personally prefer the one Motors threw away... so close...)

4. Rock Lobster

So that's it, eh?

I like "Rock Lobster" but I almost feel this time we were too predictable. I would've liked "Song for a Future Generation," "Give Me Back My Man" or even out of nowhere, "Channel Z" coming out on top. A friend of mine noticed the shocking oversight of "Butterbean." :)

I'm happy with Rock Lobster, Planet Claire or Dance This Mess Around. That first album & their image was an astounding departure from anything around at the time. It was cool, funny, queer and a little scary all at the same time. I think it's fitting that something from the debut makes it to #1.

I loved the second album, liked the thrid & then it seemed like they just cruised on their image as a novelty group.

SomebodySomewhere: Before you talk, you should read a book!

Rock Lobster is the best from The B-52's! Has anyone seen the Family Guy version?
