No, not that one, although I like "Midnight Blue," too, and R.E.M. even covered it in concert. It was his song on "The Lost Boys" with the punchy drum sound and edgy vocal work.

I think Pat Benatar's new waviest is "We Live For Love" and Don Henley's is "Dirty Laundry". Mostly I agree with you though.

I'd say Bowie is directly associated with New Wave in the same way as Roxy Music is. As in directly influencing and involved but without being limited to or directly part of that movement. Basically grandfathering the movement.

Hey! I happen to like the Lindsey Buckingham song listed - "Trouble", although I think "Go Insane" is a better candidate for New Wave. The other stuff he has listed I could do without.
