Speaking of New York bands, Marky Ramone was the drummer for Richard Hell & The Voidoids before joining The Ramones. He was known as Marc Bell at that time. That is Marky's real name.

The boy on U2's Boy and War album is Peter Rowan. Peter Rowans brother was in the Virgin Prunes with the Edge's brother.

Members of the Monochrome Set answered a classified to play with The B-sides which later became Adam and the Ants. Adam Ant got style advice from Malcom McLaren which is why He shared many of the same look and beat with Bow Wow Wow.
That's not such unknown trivia, I would just like to add that The Monochrome Set is, in my opinion, heads above Ant and one of the great unsung bands of the 80s.

an entire evening to Bowie, the 'hostess; was Amanda Lear a/k/a "Dooshenka;
the host gig was originally slated for Wayne County, who was

suits at NBC got one look at Wayne,that was the end of that...

it was around that time that Mick Ronson was suppossed to produce
a Wayne County album, which never happened

David Gedge of the Wedding Present was in a teenage band
with Dave Fielding of The Chameleons. Anyone who knows, does know
the different paths they took!

Oh, and Billy Idol was brought back to life after a cocaine induced car accident by my former bandmate. He never said a word to my friend
who saved his life...................Prick!

On I started something I couldn't finish from the Strangeways album, in the fade-out you can hear Morrissey say "shall I do that again, Stephen?" to engineer Stephen Street.
