Standing O! Kean's pre-solo band The Sharks split into two camps: Sherry and a plus-one dove into her solo career, the other two formed Blue Rodeo with Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor.
FWIW, there's one other correct answer I can think of, and it's a total new wave connection. Sherry also recorded under her given name Sherry Huffman, and provided distinctive backing vocals on Blue Peter's "Chinese Graffiti" in 1982, the year before that band's signature "Don't Walk Past."
