Doing a little research on Martini Ranch. I know we discussed this group some time ago, but I thought the following info was interesting.

I knew that Bill Paxton (Aliens, Terminator, Titanic, Twister, etc) was a member, but I heard several "Ranch" songs where he was not the lead singer, nor much involved, so I wanted to dig a little deeper into the talents behind the group.

The two main movers were Andrew Todd and Bill Paxton. However, it looks like there was a collaboration of many talents adding to their one and only album "Holy Cow".

Cindy Wilson (B-52's) provides vocals on "World Without Walls";
Judge Reinhold (Beverly Hills Cop) provides whistling on "Reach";
Mark Mothersbaugh (Devo) provides keyboarding on "Reach";
Bud Cort (Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou) helps out on "Fat Burning Formula".

Oh man, I LOVE their album Holy Cow! I wish they had done more. I think Andrew Todd was certainly the musical brains behind the band, while Paxton was the visual and lyrical mind. Either way, it's GOLD.
