First time I heard him was on Dr Demento around 79--Checking Out The Checkout Girl. Went months and forgot about the song till I was flippin through an album bin and saw his name with a great album cover. ( Intentionally cut wrong cover with him standing with laundry )

His vocals may take some getting used to but his band was awesome--not to mention his song topics!!! Laundry!!! His elbow!!! A radiator!!!! Not to mention all his songs with sexual innuendos-- hmmm, did I like him cause he was nuts , a genius or a perv????

"Let me put it in you deeply..."

Anyone else have thoughts on Wazmo?

Since I was the only one who responded to it the first time around, I thought I'd respond to it again, just for old times sake. Thanks for the nostalgia, randy! [:)]

Very special artist somewhere between Devo and early Oingo Boingo, but with much more goofiness.''Things aren't right'' is superb all way through. His second one''Tell me how to live'' is probably live and quite rare.Feels like IRS of Miles Copeland was the ''home'' of all weirdos like Skafish,Fashion,Boingo.

I was only the messenger of the almighty Wazmo, ie ripping his MP3s. He's okay. Lips was his best track.

Wazmo Nariz ah yes, one of my all time favorite acts on the I.R.S. label right up there with Skafish and Suburban Lawns

Both albums are worth checking out, I think the man is genius!
