When most people talk about XTC, the attention seems to focus on Andy Partridge, who writes most of XTC songs. However, out of the my top fave 10 XTC songs (see below) seven were written by Colin Moulding. Not that Andy was any slouch, but it seems that Colin wrote most of the best and more well know XTC songs.

Life Begins at the Hop (Colin)
Ten Feet Tall (Colin)
Generals & Majors (Colin)
Reel by Reel (Andy)
Senses Working Overtime (Andy)
Fly on The Wall (Colin)
Making Plans for Nigel (Colin)
Smokeless Zone (Colin - I think)
Respectable Street (Andy)
Love at First Sight (Colin)

PS: I will say this about Andy. He answered a fan letter I sent XTC back in my college days. He certainly is cool and also a great song writer (I just tend to listen to Colin's song more often)
