I was wondering, what are some good (or cheesy) artists that fall in this category?
I dont care how horrid the sound may be, but I like it! This is the part of the 80s most people tend to hate (this mainly applies to people my age).

Normals in this category:
lots (I mean LOTS) of keyboards, FX infested guitars, Obvious fake-sounding cheap drum machines, generally high pitched and very very 'happy' sounding. Punchy synth bass, very very danceable.
The kind of music that went into every video game that came out in 1991 and 1992.

Artists and songs?
Im not sure of who/whens/whats of it all, but I do know a lot of its from the late 80s and early 90s. Its like the 80s extreamified before Nervanna came out and started the grundge movement.

Some artitst that come to mind:
Paula Abdul, Rick Asltey, Living in a box, Sly Foxx, Vanilla Ice, DeBarg, Nu Shooz, Prince (mainly "You Got the Look") and some others that I cant think of. Help requested, please.
