Holly and the Italians

I just found out this band from a recommendation from MSN upon Josie Cotton.
Heard some 30 second samples. Sounds pretty good. Reminds me a bit of Scandal.
Any info? CDs seem available from Amazon. Like how it's from '81.

The two Holly & The Italians/Holly Beth Vincent reissues are worth owning. There is certainly a resemblance to Scandal in that these albums (particularly [i]The Right to Be Italian[/i]) have an edgier, rockier sound to them. Both albums have some great so

"Tell That Girl To Shut Up" is their "hit" (Transvision Vamp recorded a cover), but I love the song "Miles Away." It's a great power pop track.
