I agree with the posts about Sting and Morrisey being putzes-Morissey less so-but probably becasue Sting has a higher profile here in the states-

As much as I love the man-and his work with the Clash-I gotta say Joe's post-Clash stuff was largely dissapointing-actually ANY post-Clash stuff by any Clasher-is a hard pill to swallow-

This is from someone who upon hearing about Joe's death went to a bar with his best friend and put all of London Calling in the juke box and drank to Joe all night.

I gotta say I did'nt keep up with Joe Strummer solo but I liked "Love Kills" from the Sid And Nancy soundtrack and I thought the posthumous Mescaleros disc "Streetcore" was pretty good (especially "Coma Girl" and "All In A Day").

I think that Joe Strummer and Mick Jones were better together than apart. I was never a big fan of Big Audio Dynamite, and thought that "Cut the Crap" by the Clash should not have had the Clash name attached to it. Not to say that Joe or Mick didn't hav
