Which one is not like the others?
Which one just doesn't belong?

Siouxsie and the Banshees
Bananarama
Madness
Bauhaus

I'll post the answer in a couple of days. No shouting out the answer!

Bauhaus wasn't British? Where were they from, then?

I'd day Bananarama as they were the only ones to back up fun Boy Three, and to record for ZTT.

Bauhaus were from England; maybe Bananarama was the only all-female group on the list??

Nope. It’s definitely tougher than the guesses so far (but not maven-tough… I don’t think). The answer will be glaringly obvious when you get it (email me if you want to validate). Should I give a clue?

i was goig to say that Bananarama had only one good song and otherwise sucked while the others had many great songs, but I imagine the answer isn't so subjective.

Answer: Siouxsie and the Banshees

The others had hits with actors' names in the titles:

Madness – Michael Caine
Bananarama – Robert DeNiro’s Waiting (Talking Italian)
Bauhaus – Bela Legosi’s Dead

Hey, I said it was useless trivia.

What about "Dear Prudence" or "Christine (the Strawberry girl, banana split lady"???

I heard they were babes!

ha ha ha... I included Siouxsie & the Banshees precisely because, as you observe, they did have hits with "generic" names in the song titles.

I knew, even after scouring their discography, someone would find (or make up.. Vincent Price!) an obscure
