New Wave Outpost Forum

Hi everyone! My name is Pat and I am getting set to host a new weekly new wave/80's-90's alternative/synth-pop show, which will air Mondays from Noon to 2pm on KDHX-FM 88.1 in St. Louis. (website is KDHX.ORG)I have named the show "Medication" and I am looking for suggestions on cool, obscure bands from the era that I can feature on the show. I am already familiar with the obvious (Talking Heads, Flock of Seagulls, Go-Go's, etc), and I have spent the last couple of months scouring the record store looking for the stuff that never got a whole lot of airplay, even back then. I have found some gems, like OXO, the Jam, Gang of Four, etc. but I am always looking for more. If anyone can offer any suggestions, that would be really help me make the show a big success! [:D]

It is nice to see terra broadcast radio giving an 80s/New-Wave show a shot. There are SO many lost gems from the 80s that deserve to be heard.
