World Destruction By "Time Zone" (John Lydon)Anyone remember this gem?I just stumbeled across it in my massive record stash.Afrika Bambaataa & John Lydon : vocals; Bill Laswell : bass, DMX; Bernie Worrell : synthesizer; Nicky Skopelitis : guitar; Aiyb Dieng : percussion.1984 - Celluloid.I think this kicks a** a great mix of slick Afrika Bambaataa's synth's a slice of Laswell's intrusion and sharp guitar.Kind of Electro punk with alot of angst. what's anybody elses take on this?

One of the songs we always loved to hear in the clubs, along with Ledernacken - Amok (shares the anger), Tones on Tail - Go! (shares the energy), Kon Kan - I Beg Your Pardon (shares the mixing), Tin Tin - Kiss Me (shares... well... nothing).

Yeah, this is a great song, really aggressive drumbeat; very cool to hear some true innovators collaborate - - if you happen to have the single, check out the b-side for some interesting spoken-word snippets concerning 'Mr. Reagan'....So 80's!!!
