New Wave Outpost Forum

hello everyone, can someone here please help me out, i am looking for alot of movies with a new wave touch to them, or a 80's retro sound.. i really cant explain this, or movies with New Wave bands in them , iam looking for movies that have that new wave feeling to them, if you know what i mean.. please help me out

The movies that come to mind are "Back to School"(Oingo Boingo does Dead-Man's Party), Valley Girl, and Fast Times at Ridgemont High

Without getting too obscure, my idea of the 'classic' new wave movie is probably "Sixteen Candles". No new wave subject matter per se, but those posters on Sam's bedroom walls speak volumes.

Wow - Urgh! a Music War was great - - got the soundtrack when it came out but it never played in theaters in my area. Only saw it once, at a friend's house, who had a copy on 'Beta' (another 80's artifact).
