Sense i don't know how a new waver would look or act except from the characature of Adam First on GTA vice city, how did the traditional 80's new waver act??? Was anything like the pretentious,arrogant,make you feel bad,shophisticated,right wing, Adam first??? Or was it somewhere in between or was that just a bad stereotype???

For me, dressing new wave definitely involved the Salvation Army. Trench coats (like Echo would wear) and tacky sportcoats, covered with the new-wave band buttons (luckily I still have them all) was what it was all about.
