I never made it habit of watching the Oscars because I'm not a movie person, but I was flicking through the channels & caught Sting on stage so I decided to watch. He was followed by Elvis Costello, who was then followed by Annie Lennox. How much more new wave could the Oscars possibly get?

Is it me or can hardly anyone believe that Phil Collins and Celine Dione have won Oscars? Just don't about that Annie...you're one of the coolest chicks around!

Annie deserved the Oscar & the dress was gorgeous... and Madonna's probably eating her heart out right now because she'll never get one. (That's the part I like best.) Heh heh!
