PSB's new single

I think it's really good... it reminds me of the old Pet Shop Boys hits... very danceable. I can't wait for the album to come out!!

Weird thing that nobody has opinions on "I'm with stupid"... it's a very good song.

Of course...and I'm organising a tribute to Ian in the anniversary of him leaving us. I'm really excited about it, it's the only thing that's bringing some happiness to my life during the past weeks. [:D]

OK, I'm listening to it right now.

I love it to death. We should get some amazing remixes out of this single (praying for a David Morales contribution). I think the album will be nothing short of astonishing.

The video premieres tonight on UK *telly* on Channel 4 at 11.45 pm.

From the official Pet Shop Boys website:

"The video for the single stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas, who play Pet Shop Boys in two of their most famous video incarnations – “Go West” and “Can You Forgive Her?”. This gave David and Matt the opportunity to wear versions of the famous pointed hats and orange suits of “Can You Forgive Her?”, whilst re-enacting scenes from the video. Similarly, the “Go West” promo is plundered for other scenes in this new video.

Immediately afterwards, the video will be available for view on www.popjustice.com (because it's a great site). And from midnight, you'll be able to see it here (petshopboys.co.uk)!"

If you like synthpop and dance music, nobody does it quite as well as Pet Shop Boys. The only thing wrong with this latest single is the (thankfully) short chorus, which is ridiculous, and IMO detracts from an otherwise very good song. I'm not complaining, it's just my observation. The arrangement and verses are top notch as usual, and for accompaniment is a fun video for the fans. I'm pleased that PSB are still at it.
