For my own selfish purposes, could you guys list as many NW acts that are back (or never left) making new music. Links to websites etc.

I'm trying to track these bands down and I've had luck e-mailing them and getting demos sent to me (Wendy James, Bananarama) or establishing a relationship with the label. I'm looking to spin them on my show. Thanks.

A band that I know you don't particularly like who never left: Duran Duran. Still sounding pretty awesome!

No, I've played "Sunrise" on the show. If we get a request and we have it, it goes on...regardless of what I'm into (I'm playing "Planet Earth" this week for example...and I like that song anyway!). It's always more interesting for me to make up the playlists based on various requests rather than having some "know-it-all" (like me[8D]) dictate everything. I have a CD player in the car for that.

Midge Ure is still going strong, thank god. He still tours every year and this year is no different. He hasn't released an album of new material since 2001, but has released some live albums and dvds since then.

His next appearance is on Wed. April 19th in Munich, Germany, Theater im Schlachthof, but I'm busy that night. You can call +49 89765448 for tickets [:D]

I agree, LA. My daughter quite independently got into the Cure. Freaked her out when I showed her my CD single of "Lullabye", her favorite LimeWire download.
