We can make two categories here: A for those bands whose material was never released on CD and B for those whose CD are now out of print. I'll suggest a few off the top of my head. If a song or two is available on a compilation we won't count that. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm mistaken:

Ignatius Jones
Robert Hazzard
20/20
A Certain Ratio
Abecedarians
Blanket of Secrecy
Polyrock...

If we can get some good lists for groups A and B it might make for a fun round or two of "New Wave Survivor-Idol"

At the moment, I think my four dream CD releases are Private Lightning, 4 Out of 5 Doctors, The Breakfast Club and Units - for no other reason than the sheer number of unreleased tracks they all had. Private Lightning alone had over two ALBUMS worth of unreleased stuff.

Oh, and also Sex Execs and The Pink. Don't remember anything unreleased, but their entire released catalogues would fit neatly on one CD.

Roger Troutman's debut album from 1976...never released on CD, cassette or 8-track. Just a limited run on vinyl. I wish someone would release it on CD so everyone would have a chance to enjoy it.

B-Movie (Platinum Collection has just been released)
ACR (loads of their stuff is available on CD)
Girls At Our Best! - Pleasure (released on Vinyl Japan)

The Lover Speaks
Red Box - Circle & The Square

The above two have had CD releases, just pony up the dough if you want them..

Yachts - same (got this, includes b-sides to singles from the first album)

Now, for some bands whose albums aren't available on CD:

Serious Drinking - The Joy of Pigs
Beggar & Co - Monument
Landscape - Manhattan Boogie-Woogie

I know there's more, but that's all I can remember for now.
