The lyrics to "Freedom" by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five MC's are burned into my memory, and for the right reasons. Great song!

One of my favorite lyrical pieces was the spoken word interlude from Ultravox "We Came To Dance"

But keep in mind, the penalty fits the crime
And it deals no softened blow

For a 14 year old that was like soooo cool!

I like the picks so far . There's another song with great lyrics I almost forgot about "Dear God" by XTC .
