True or false: It's good that the Smiths imploded when they did; otherwise, they would have turned into another former college-rock dinosaur, like U2, REM, the Cure, Depeche Mode, et. al.

Never liked the Smiths, other than How Soon is Now...so for me they didn't implode soon enough.
