New Wave Outpost Forum

Hi everybody!

I'm new, and so happy to have found this forum! As I consider myself an avid fan of new wave/80s music, and pretty much all the sub-genres (new romantic, post-punk, synthpop). Not to mention I like all kinds of other underground, indie, and electronic music from 70s to present.

I'm a DJ here in Philadelphia that specializes in spinning new wave and 80s music. In fact, I prefer it. We do a monthly party here called "Sex Dwarf" (named after the Soft Cell song!) and it's doing pretty well. We'll soon be celebrating our 1-year anniversary.

Glad you've joined! I joined a few days ago, and it is great to be able to talk to other people into the same things. I was inspired to dig out all of my old vinyl and watch my favorite 80s movies again. Have fun on the board!
