You Knew this had to come sooner or later.


For all that is right Joy Division better win this one in fact it better be a boat race!

Joy Division. PERIOD.

This is actually harder than it sounds-I've listened to a lot of both-

Joy Division had one of the greatest songs of all time-Love Will Tear Us Apart-but I think a lot of what Joy Division-could have been got derailed.

I never really warmed up much

I saw the same tour in Montreal with Echo and Jezebel, New Order coming on last as the main act. They were all very good.

Concert aside, while I definitely like Joy Division, no doubt, and they perhaps most defined the Factory label in its early days,

I have very fond memories of dancing/listening to New Order on Friday nights at Aldo's in Lyndhurst, NJ. In fact, I was exposed to New Order long before I got the 411 on who they really were. After that, naturally, I delved into Joy Division's back catalo

I saw New Order in concert when the "Low-Life" album was released.
They were very, very good, but I must say that JOY DIVISION is legendary.

New Order. Mean more to me than any other band. Both bands are vital for different reasons but I was about 14 when Ian Curtis died and had just started listening to Joy Division where as New Order have been with me all my life!
