my answer is i love both. i am such a dManiac that i will take any i can get in any form. they could play with toy instruments like painosaurus and i would not care. the are mothereffin deepeche comode for cryin' out loud and i will dance to anything.

Electronic music (the 70's pop versions - Kraftwerk/ Human League/ Depeche) were in a way a delibrate reaction against the standard 'Rock' format, so going with that logic, I would say that the original pure electronic format was the more honest performance. That being said --I love a good guitar rock out. I have also seen the most 'punk rock' performance in my life happen at Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx, and Drum and Bass clubs where there wasnt a guitar around for miles.
