In the spirit of Spinal Tap, here is my ode to the greatest Punk Band that never existed. I just like the name and any excuse to use it is a good one.[b]

The legendary Fucktards, leaders of the 70's punk revolution, are reuniting as part of an MTV reality show. Bassist Lemmy Squealmore, lead singer Sid Ramone and drummer Johnny Strummer are planning a new tour just as soon as they learn that elusive third chord.

Despite the fact that they never even released one album, The 'Tards are regarded as THE group that inspired The Clash, Sex Pistols and Ramones to stop playing polka music and start playing Punk Rock.

"They were the greatest", gurgled Johnny Rotten from his padded cell at The Brighton Home for Retired Gobbers. "Lemmy only knew one note but boy could he play it!"

Catch the MTV show this Fall and the tour beginning in Winter. The Fucktards opening act will be The Spastic Colons.
