Postby pikeprof » Mon Jul 26, 2004 3:17 am

The thread about the relative merits of Penelope Houston (ex-Avengers)'s second career as a folky-got me thinking about Peter Case's (Plimsouls) second career as a folky-any thoughts about great second careers for your favorite muscical artists from way back when?

Adam Ant went on to be crazy![:D]

But now after seeing bands reunited, I see that most new wave artists just joined the world like the rest of us. Bankers, brokers, and other normal jobs. Some produce in the industry.2 people that stick out: Thomas Dol

I read online that Exene from X is now a librarian and goes by the name Christine Edge now. The Kemp brothers from Spandau Ballet went into acting. I like the post about what Adam Ant went on to be[:D]!

Gary Numan flies his own airplane now, just for kicks.

Anyone know what Martin Frye of ABC is doing now? I thought he would go into movies as well.

Kate from Haysi Fantaysi went on to become a big photographer and artist.

Peter Garrett from Midnight Oil went on to become a Senator in Australia. Big major political figure. (Wonder if he still does the bald look? )

Is that true about midnight oil? Thats so cool because he was really political in his music and now at least there is one politician in the world with the right idea.

Speaking of Haysi Fantayzee, Jeremy went on to be a club dj, and Paul Caplin invented something to do with computers and became a multi-gazillionaire with his own company.
