I was wondering if there are any fans out there of this popster and/or his former band, The Cleaners of Venus? He is another overlooked and largely unknown artist on this side of the pond.

i have several albums by them and the lack of replies pretty much is a testament to his/their obscurity. they are ravely reviewed from what i've read.

Count me in as a fan too. "The Greatest Living Englishman" and "Golden Cleaners" (a compilation) are good introductions to this eccentric Brit.

Do either of you guys also know of his later incantation-The Brotherhood of the Lizards? It was a cd from 1995. Good stuff.
