What else is out there that immediately transports you back in time twenty years ago when you see it?

Any Ann Rice book! All the vampire books were huge back then. Or was it just all the goths I hung out with? To this day when I see one in a book store, I'm back in the 80's. That and mohawks!

Ditto Jimbo . . . I had a framed Nagel print; wonder what happened to it. Probably disappeared at the same garage sale where my sister sold all my 80's vinyl!

Also, the whole 80s-do-the-20s art deco revival, which feeds into the geometric wallpaper

Parallel Lines and Geomatric shapes-and also for me-since I was heavy into the psych/garage revival-sixties-looking stuff seems more 80s to me

I also remember a lot of retro-sixties things being part of the eighties, like glow in the dark peace symbol necklaces and tie-dye. When I see those now they do remind me of the eighties instead of the sixties.

I remember some of the retro sixties stuff in 1988 and 1989 but in the early 1980's we kinda made fun of the late 1960's where I lived.
