My cat ruined a few of my 45's (clawed at the spines on my Human League and Intaferon singles specifically), but I'll never forget seeing her punch her claw through the flexidisc of "Wrong Again" by Squeeze (this was a holy grail type item to me that I paid big bucks for, and all I could do was an Adam Sandler type "nooooooooo" in slow motion as I saw it happen). I put the disc on the turntable right after it happened, hoping any damage was superficial, but the needle got lodged in the hole she poked her claw through. My kitty was the best pet I ever had (she's been gone for a year now), but she had some serious issues with new wave.

A pet RACCOON? Don't those mean little bastards rip the faces off of dogs and such? I didn't know that they were able to be domesticated.
