Weird musical cravings (non new wave)...

This is weird. I woke up this morning with the song "Abacab" by Genesis stuck in my head. I never owned anything by Genesis but I remember this album being very popular around the time MTV hit the scene. Anyone admit to having the CD, Is this New Wave blasphemy?

Since when is it heresy to listen to non new wave music? I've had Abacab in my head before. Of course, most of the time I wake up with an 80's song buzzing in my head. This morning was "Dancing In Heaven (Orbital Be-Bop)" by Q-Feel. [8D]

I listen to all sorts of stuff. Right now I'm on a big Turbonegro bender. I dunno, though. I went through a HUGE hard rock/garage rock bender about five or six years ago, just right before the White Stripes and The Hives and all that stuff came out. I

Oh-I have wonderfully large tastes in music-folk-blues-jazz-and curiously-Post war to pre-war pop standards-but 'tis all a daliance-I eventually return to my true love-punk-garage and the wonderfully eclectic era we call "new wave."
