Cuddly Toys

I believe these guys were from France,but I can't be 100% about that.What did these guys sound like and were they any good? I take it that none of their albums are that easy to find?

I have a 45 by them: Bowie/Bolan's "Madman" with their own "Join the Girls" on the flip. I'm pretty certain from England, based on the vocals. It's not remarkable but I'm glad I've got it just the same.

Cuddly Toys were formed from the ashes of the little known (but very cool) punk band the Raped. They released at least a few albums and a batch of singles. There is a compilation CD available. I think that it is on Cherry Red, but I can't be 100% sure.

The Raped / Cuddly Toys were from England. Having a name like "The Raped" ensured the band didn't get too many gigs, so after a few years of struggling they changed their name and sound, and had a few very minor hits in the early 80's.
