NYC 80s New Wave Night This Thursday 8/19

Postby tonycologne » Sat Aug 14, 2004 8:07 am

Hey Everyone! Hope some of you can make it our NYC Retro 80s/New Wave Night at 169 Bar in the Lower East Side this Thursday, 8/19! It will be a huge night with tons of New Wave classics all night long from 9pm. FREE!

Ricky 0 (aka Ricky Rickstep) and DJ Tony Cologne present the second episode in the Retrospective series at 169 Bar @ 169 E Broadway, Thursday August 19th. Expect an ecclectic mix of everything '80s, including hip hop, dance, synthpop, new wave and more retro that you can shake your rhythm stick at. Cheap drinks early on, apparently. Music from 9pm. No cover. Be square, be there. [:)] [8D] [:X]

Very cool. If things go well, would it be a regular thing?

Right now, I'm talking to the owner of a club in Red Bank, NJ to DJ a New Wave night at the club, starting Tuesday, August 31. We shall see.

It all depends on how the night goes really.
Everyone keep their fingers crossed.
Better yet, keep them crossed while you're down at the party!

If I wasn't packing for a move, I would have made it. Hope it was a great night!!

Good luck if you do them again. Will try to make it out the next one...
