Did anyone watch the coverage of the Olympics opening ceremonies?
Bjork sang a song (?Medulla), and wore an "unusual" dress.
Someone on one of the David Sylvian/Japan mailing lists claims that during one of the commercials, David Sylvian was singing "Somewhere".
Funny thing is that I heard it, and even though I am a big DS fan, didn't make the connection.
Can anyone confirm?
btw, it definitely wasn't the Pet Shop Boys!

But can I just say, erm, WHY? I wonder what ad director thought, "Gee, it would be a really good idea to get David Sylvian to sing this."
Not that I begrudge David the work. Still, his is not the voice one expects
