Ever have one of those artists you cannot decide if you like or not? This guy is mine. Some tunes I really like , some tunes really annoy me.
Whats the general consensus on Mr. Cole? (and the commotion he causes)

Liked the stuff he did with his group, didn't care for his solo work. Rattlesnakes is a great song!

Lloyd is one artist whose CD's I run out and buy as soon as they come out. He has grown and matured as an artist as I have grown and matured in my life and my musical taste. Maybe I still like him because we are about the same age and had our first chil

I've heard that he lives / lived in my town (Northampton, MA). I wonder if I would recognize him if I saw him strolling down Main St.

I've always like a few of his songs, but like most that fall under the singer-songwriter category, I can't be bothere

I really dig Lloyd Cole. Saw him in Seattle with Michael Penn in 1990. I differ from SwampThing--I liked the stuff with the Commotions but his solo work is even better, has matured over the years. The self-title 1990 album is great.

I always liked his work either with the Commotions or solo. A very consistent and masterful songwriter, too bad he is overlooked by the masses.

Rattlesnakes is one of my all time favorite albums. Never get tired of hearing that one![8D]
